Warmest Greetings:

On behalf of the members of the Azalea City (GA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, it is my distinct honor and pleasure to welcome you to our website. The Azalea City (GA) Chapter was chartered on June 26, 1995 and has provided 20 plus years of remarkable and exemplary service to the Greater Atlanta community and beyond.  As one of six chapters in the Atlanta area, the Azalea City (GA) Chapter is proud to have a diverse membership consisting of outstanding women in the fields of business, education, finance, government, law, literacy, medicine, and science.  Chapter members sit on national, regional, state and local boards of major organizations serving the business, academic, social and civic communities.

Through the years, Azalea City (GA) Chapter has successfully focused on the organization’s national program initiatives and created outstanding, innovative award-winning programs in the following five (5) Facet areas: National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, Services to Youth, The Arts, and Health and Human Services.

The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946 with a membership that consists of nearly 14,000 professional women of color. The Azalea City (GA) Chapter is proud to be one of the 283 chapters located in 41 states, the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. Additionally, The Links, Incorporated is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations made up of extraordinary women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.

Members of The Links, Incorporated are influential decision makers and opinion leaders who have made long lasting and impacting differences in their communities and the world. We are business and civic leaders, role models, mentors, activists and volunteers who work towards a common vision by engaging like-minded organizations and individuals for partnership. Annually Links members contribute more than 500,000 documented hours of community service across the globe – strengthening our communities and enhancing the nation.

The members of Azalea City (GA) Chapter continue to “soar to new heights” by providing transformational and sustaining programs built on great community partnerships and a legacy of friendship and service.
